Vault
The Golden Gate is to the Vault.
In the arrivals area, you will find two portals that will take you to your personal Vault. Each vault is private, so Items stored in the chests here cannot be accessed by any other player. Each chest can hold eight items; any items left on the floor will disappear when you leave your Vault. You get one vault to start off with, but the rest you must pay for using the money in the game.

Gardens
To either side of the departures area can be found two gardens. Trade between adventurers was once (and sometimes still is) a matter of bartering goods by putting them down for exchange -- this could be abused by passers-by who will pick up the items. In the gardens you can put some distance between you and spectators with quick fingers.
Lands of Oryx
In the cave mouths named after monsters, you will be sent to a large island. Each island contains monsters beyond your imagination. The monsters are minions of the Mad God, they are deadly, and they will attempt to kill you. Defeating these monsters will reward you with "experience" which improves your health, speed, and other attributes. The monstrous ones may also drop equipment that is better than what you are using now, so you might duel the larger beasts more important to the Mad God's machinations.
